The neighborhood is already happening
Kintsu is a map and a letter for people who want to live closer to what's around them — not scroll past it.
Every week, something opens down the block. A farmer sets up on a corner. A studio hosts an open night. A pop-up appears in a courtyard you've walked past a hundred times. The city is full of small gatherings — but they're scattered across feeds, flyers, and group chats you were never added to.
We built Kintsu because the good stuff is usually local, temporary, and easy to miss. Not because it isn't worth showing up for — but because nobody has time to hunt for it.
Our job is simple: put what's nearby on a map, and send a quiet letter when something matches the way you actually live.
That means markets for people who cook on Sundays. Workshops for people who learn with their hands. Music for people who still care about listening in a room. Gatherings that don't need a billboard — just a neighbor who heard about them first.
We're not trying to capture your attention. We're trying to give it back — one neighborhood at a time, one week at a time.
